So, I have this odd little idea and I have to wonder where it can go in the right hands, so here goes.

Anyone familiar with Clock Solitaire? If so, this ought to make sense, if not uh... Google it?

Anywho, the idea here is to take the names of thirteen characters, any thirteen, and assign them either a number 1-13. Ace is 1 and King is 13, obviously. Now, play a game of Clock Solitaire and as you clear all four of a rank out, note the character name attached to that rank. When you've cleared two ranks out, you have either a pair write fic or draw art of. It can be either friendship or pairing or even a fight.

I'm going to use Organization XIII from King Hearts as an example for the obvious reason of the number of them and the fact that each name is conveniently assigned a number already, but really, you can use any set of characters you want.

As such, if I play my game of Clock Solitaire and the first two ranks I clear are the Queen and the Deuce, then the pair is Larxene and Xigbar.

Under official rules, a game of Clock Solitaire ends when all the Kings are found, but if you use a deck of cards rather than a computer version, you could keep playing until you've set a list to make some pairs or trios out of.

As a variation, if you're particularly bored and want to randomize it even more (and have the patience to list out 52 names), you could even assign a character to each card and make the pairing of the last card found of that rank. For instance, in another KH example, if I've assigned Kairi to the Queen of Hearts and Pence to the Ace of Clubs, then those cards have to be the last of their ranks turned up to pair those two.

If anyone thinks of a better way to explain that, be my guest. I'd attempt some writing or art of it myself, but my muses aren't being the most cooperative right now.
