Well, my Easter weekend fucking sucked.

fox_the_kitsuneIssue #1-Ran out to do my food shopping quick on Saturday and returned home to find a) topic #2 of my previous entry, b) a nasty, acrid smell in the house. The smell turned out to be a wire in the refrigderator threatening to short. So, fridge died.
Issue #2-Gramma was a royal bitch on Sunday. She has Alzheimer's, but when the meanness is selective it cannot be blamed on the condition.
Issue #3-The sick cat mentioned in my previous post? We had her put down this morning. It's not like she was a young cat. She was 15. Some cats can push 30. But it was kind of sudden. She was drinking a bit more over the last few days (it could well have been longer) and then we noticed that she'd lost weight, to the point of being bony. She wasn't fat to begin with, but not thin either. I work, so I didn't see her all that much and hadn't noticed. Had tests done to rule out FIV and Leukemia because they're contagious for cats and I have two others. The other two are fine. Unruffled, so far, but we have left other pets at the vet overnight before. So they don't know. Well, they might. It's hard to tell with cats.
And there's other shit going on as well and I'm ranted out.
